Hello Everyone,

I have been taking it easy and knitting some dishcloths until the inspiration comes for a new pattern.

I actually like the knitted dishcloths better than the crocheted dishcloths. That's because I find the crocheted dishcloths too thick and it's harder to wring them out.

It would be great if there was a 2 ply cotton yarn. That would be much thinner and just great for crocheting dishcloths. I have seen the baby cotton yarn, but the baby colors were not suited for dishcloths.

I did do a search online and I found some finer cotton yarn. It's called "Patons Grace Yarn", but the price is very high, $4.49 for a 50 gram ball, Wow! I guess I will keep knitting my dishcloths.

Here are a couple knitted dishcloth patterns that I found online that I really like:

This one is pretty on both sides!

This one is very pretty.

I have created a "MySpace" profile. http://www.myspace.com/suescrochet I don't have much on there yet. I had to register for a "MySpace" account when my son and my nephew wanted me to look at pictures of their bands. I could get to their main page, but the only way I could view their pictures was to become a member.

Since I already had the account, I decided to use it for crafts. So if any of you are on "MySpace", drop by and become my friend.

As someone on my forum was looking for a crocheted Wedding Ring afghan pattern, I thought I would put a reminder here that I have a free E-Book that you can download from my site at
http://crochetandknitting.com/craftbooks/
It's called "20 Vintage Crochet Patterns" It has a "Wedding Ring Bedspread" pattern made with cotton crochet thread, however, it's done in blocks, so you also use yarn and just make as many blocks as needed for the right size of your afghan.

A lot of people are looking for patterns to crochet for their dogs. I have put a couple books up on my site for both crochet and knit patterns, however they aren't free:
"Doggie Divas & Dandies"
"PuppyKnits"

That is all for today. I hope you have a great weekend.

Sincerely,
